2015 Horses & Dreams equestrian festival welcomes Australia in Germany
Horses & Dreams (22-26 April 2015), has established itself as a popular equestrian competition and takes place in Hagen (Lower Saxony, Germany). Almost 67,000 visitors every year attend for the top international sport and an attractive entertainment program.
One of the highlights of this festival is the annually-changing guest country, which gives the event a fresh look every year. Australia has been chosen as the tenth Horses & Dreams host country.
Aussie show jumping riders James Paterson-Robinson and Jamie Kermond will travel to the Southern Osnabrück area while Lyndal Oatley, Kristy Oatley and Briana Burgess will represent Australia in the dressage division. “My home country is guest in my new home country, and all my beloved ones will gather. Horses & Dreams will be a huge family party for me,” dressage rider Lyndal Oatley happily says. She will compete with the futurity prospect Diva in the Almased Dressage Stadium.
An “Australian Village Experience” will show the diversity and fascination of Australia in a melting pot of tradition and culture with shows, music, culture, souvenirs and Australian specialities.
