Australian Eventing Team Rio 2016 Staging Camp

Australia's Eventing team for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games is making its final preparations in the English countryside. 

The team of Chris Burton (Santano II), Sam Griffiths (Paulank Broackagh), Shane Rose (Qualified) and Stuart Tinney (Pluto Mio) along with team reserves, are making their final preparations at Stow on the World in Glousestershire. 

With half of Australia's elite level Eventing riders situated in the UK, the location is a familiar one for members of Equestrian Australia's high perfomance program. 

Equestrian Australia National Performance Director Prue Barrett gives an insight into the camp and what athletes will be doing in the last days before leaving for Rio on 29 July.
