Would you like to be involved in the new junior equine participation program Ready Set Trot? Equestrian Australia and Pony Club Australia are looking for volunteers to assist in accrediting potential delivery centres. If you are an EA or PCA coach or official then read on

EA and PCA are calling on NCAS accredited coaches and officials to get involved in and support the Ready Set Trot program by becoming a Ready Set Trot inspector.

The role of a Ready Set Trot inspector is to primarily support the delivery and integrity of the newly launched Ready Set Trot program.
 
Inspectors are required to conduct inspections of prospective Ready Set Trot delivery centres to ensure they meet all safety requirements to deliver the program as well as conducting interviews and on-site training of nominated Ready Set Trot coaches.
 
All Ready Set Trot inspectors receive specific training, work to a specific and publicly advertised criteria and are paid for their services. A Ready Set Trot inspector is required to hold and maintain one of the below qualifications, or, at the sole discretion of Equestrian Australia, be regarded as an industry professional with the required knowledge and training to fulfill the job requirements:
 
• EA NCAS Coach 
• EA NOAS Official
• PCA NCAS Coach
• PCA NOAS Official
 
Ready Set Trot inspectors are required particularly in regional areas to complete inspections for the influx of delivery centre applications.
