Campbell takes out Shepparton World Cup
In a large field of 33 competitors boasting both quantity and quality Brooke Campbell and Copabella Cadiz have claimed their first World Cup victory.
The pair had only made their World Cup debut the week earlier at the Wodonga World Cup qualifier, where they finished in a respectable 13th place.
Campbell and Cadiz were the only combination to produce a double clear round. It’s a special win for Copabella as Cadiz suffered a mysterious illness last year overseas forcing him to be gelded and return home to Australia.
In second place was another new combination at World Cup level, Queenslander Clem Smith & Delilah, only adding a mere time penalty to their score. Tim Clarke and Caltango finished in third position after only adding one rail to his score.
Although the course saw many combinations finish on four penalties it was rated as a very testing track, to view the results click here
