Cross country proved to be difficult for the Australian Team at the Boekelo FEI Nations Cup CCIO3*.
Paul Tapner and Bonza King of Rouges parted company at the first water complex after tripping up the bank on exit.
Sammi Birch and Hunter Valley were also eliminated when she had a run-out and came off at the very influential 7abc combination early on course. Horses and riders are ok.
Emma Dougall and Fernhill Tabasco suffered 20 penalties on the B element of the 11abc combination. They finished on a score of 82.6 and are in 39th place.
Sam Griffiths and Beaurepaire Nemo were the best placed AUS combination. They incurred 8.4 time penalties on a score of 52.0 and in 11th place before show jumping.
On Boekelo's final day, the remaining team members Sam Griffiths and Emma Dougall both passed trot up before the Jumping phase started.
Emma and Fernhill Tabasco jumped clear but with 6 time-penalties. She finished in 36th place. Sam and Beaurepaire Nemo had one rail down finishing in 10th place on a score of 56.0.
