EOI - FEI Endurance World Championships for Seniors

Equestrian Australia are calling for non-binding Expressions of Interest (EOI) from Athletes considering campaigning for selection on the Australian Team at the FEI Endurance World Championships for Seniors in Al Ula (KSA) on the 17th October 2026.

The Championship Team will consist of:
5 x Participating Combinations (Athlete/Horse) plus 2 reserves (horses/combinations) 
1 x Chef d’Equipe 
1 x Team Vet (FEI Registered Veterinarian) 
Minimum 2 x Crew Members per horse 

The EA National Endurance Selectors will select the Australian representatives for the FEI Senior Endurance World Championship, based on the EA Selection Policy (yet to be published). The policy may include the following: 

• Those events eligible to be considered for selection are any single day FEI CEI3* 160
• That Horse/Athlete combinations must complete 2 x CEI3*, including one in combination (FEI 836:1.2) 
• That one 1 x CEI3* must be completed after 1 January 2026 
• That the Qualification Period for selection to the Australian Endurance World Championship team commences 1 September 2024 and is likely to end 1 September 2026 (nominated entry date)  
• That JR/YR events will not count as Selection events for the purposes of qualifying for the FEI Senior Endurance World Championships 
• That Athletes must earn an FEI Certificate of Capability, the criteria for which will be determined by the FEI 

Non-binding Interest 

Australian Athletes interested in being considered for selection for the 2026 Senior World Endurance Championships,as well as Team Management positions of Chef d’Equipe and Team Vet, must in the first instance, submit an EA Event Registration (a Non-Binding Expression of Interest) by 28 February 2025, via Google Forms which can be found directly at the following link: https://forms.gle/tSefeBFXHzLWp5KJ9 

Athletes are responsible for understanding and reviewing relevant information and qualifications, and all further information relevant to selection and the event as it becomes available.
