EOI - Official Photographer for Paris 2024 Olympic Games

Equestrian Australia (EA) invites professional equestrian photographers to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to provide photography coverage of the Australian Equestrian Team (in the disciplines of Dressage, Eventing and Jumping) at the Paris Olympic Games from 26 July to 6 August 2024.

Key Requirements:

1. Existing Paris 2024 Photographic Accreditation (EP or EPs).
2. Understanding of, and agreement to sign, the Paris 2024 “Photographers’ undertaking for the Games of the xxxiii Olympiad Paris 2024”
3. A Passport which is valid until at least 8 January 2025 and an appropriate Visa if required.
4. Extensive Experience: The photographer must have a proven track record of capturing equestrian events at various levels, including national and international competitions.
5. Creativity and Artistic Vision: We are looking for a photographer who can go beyond capturing the technical aspects of equestrian events and create visually captivating images that evoke emotions and tell stories.
6. Professionalism and Reliability: The selected photographer must be professional, reliable, and able to work within tight deadlines. They should have excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with athletes, EA Staff and the EA Media Liaison Officer.
7. Provision of at least 10 images per day from all horse inspections, training sessions and competitions as well as candid shots of the Australian Team and support staff throughout the Games as well as team photos.
8. Permission for EA to use these images throughout the 2024 Olympic Games and for future use directly related to EA and the Australian Equestrian Team including on social media, EA website and in print.

Please include the following information in your EOI:

• Your experience in photographing equestrian events, including any previous work at national or international competitions.
• Confirmation of your availability during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games Equestrian events (26 July to 6 August 2024) and your possession of all relevant accreditations and travel documentation.
• Your capacity to manage multiple clients (if applicable) during the Games.
• Day Rate and ALL other associated charges.
• Your ‘vision’ for capturing this special event.
• Proposed method and timeframe for image delivery each day.
• Any other relevant information.
