HP funded Eventing Course Designer Forum

Held in January/February each year, and funded by the High Performance budget, the Eventing Course Designer Forum brings together Australian Senior Course Designers & Technical Director officials from around the country.

The theme for the forum held in Sydney last week was 'Heading towards Aachen 2026' and discussions centred around the following topics: 

• International course design trends and ensuring cources are up to standard
• Discussion and outcomes of the recent 2025 FEI Eventing Forum held in Switzerland
• Discussion around FEI Rule Amendments in 2025
• Discussions around Safety Review & Reduction of Horse Falls

This was time well spent and an important gathering of key people in the sport to faciliate the sharing of information and the setting of direction for the year ahead.
