Kristy Oatley wins Grand Prix in Deauville, France
Three-time-Olympian Kristy Oatley and her majestic 15-year-old Oldenburg Ronan 2 won the Deauville CDI3* Grand Prix with a personal best score of 70.080% on Friday 24 July against 30 other starting combinations.
Oatley and her horse were among combinations from 17 nations competing in the Dress’in Deauville, international 3* event.
Kristy told dressage-news.com she was, “Over the moon with Ronan. He is getting more confident in the arena, mostly the harmony between the movements is more finely tuned.”
Kristy and Ronan also finished third of the GP Freestyle receiving a score of 72.625%. Kristy finished first of the Inter 1 with her other horse Du Soleil scoring 72.053%.
