National Dressage Steward Pathway gains FEI equivalency

Equestrian Australia is pleased to announce that the FEI have granted the AUS National Dressage Stewards Education Pathway to be equivalent to the FEI Level I Dressage Steward Education pathway as of 13/02/2025.

This positive outcome for our stewards is the result of some very careful planning and professional proposals submitted to the FEI by our Steward General, Cathy Drury-Klein and Officials Pathways Manager, Amy McGregor. It now ensures that Australian Stewards have a clear pathway to further develop the necessary skills for an increasingly important role in the sport

The FEI approval of our application for Australian National Dressage Stewards be equivalent to the FEI Level I Dressage Steward Education is a great achievement. Our current education process has been accepted by the FEI thereby giving our national stewards a chance to upgrade their national level to FEI level through online programs and experience in Australia.

The equivalency means that the approved National Officials can be directly entered into the FEI Level 2 Transfer Course provided they fulfil the National criteria and mentioned in the FEI Education System and completed all necessary requirements.
