The Nationals - Australasian Show Horse Championships
Many competitors & spectators enjoyed the 30th year of competition at the Australasian Show Horse & Rider Championships this weekend, at Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre, Victoria. With riders coming from all states of Australia & New Zealand, it was for them, first the honour of representing their state or country, and supporting their team with sportsmanship but also mostly just enjoying themselves !
Brynie Lee, from Victoria and her beautiful Newington Tinkerbell, owned by Roger Searle was given the thumbs up by all three judges to take out the EA Australasian Small Pony ne 12hh Championship.
The Medium Pony over 12hh & ne 13hh Championship winner is Robbanie Chart Topper, ridden by Trinette Crawford and owned by Belinda Sibley, representing NSW.
South Australian representative, Margot Haynes, riding Chris Lawrie & Julie Crisp's Kolbeach Starlight won the EA Australasian Large Pony over 13hh & ne 14hh Championship over the weekend.
The Junior Rider 12 years and under Championship was won by Hannah Bufton on her very own Gordon Park Masquerade from Victoria.
The Intermediate Rider 12 to 14 years Championship winner was Jessica Gacki‐O'Sullivan on Wesswood Boyfriend, coming down from NSW.
Sally Shaw from Victoria, who already took out the Grand National Show Horse Rider 15yrs & under 17yrs Championship this year, won the Intermediate Rider 15 to 17 years Championship on her Warmblood LBA Dance on Friday.
The Senior Rider 18 years and over Championship was won by the Grand Prix rider Robbie Soster and her cute little chesnut Robali Razzamatazz for NSW.
