NVW 2018 | Alison volunteers because ...

"I volunteer because I love the sport and like helping people. Hopefully, it also encourages others to lend a hand where possible." 

In 2017, Alison has not only been a committee member on Jumping Queensland but has also been the Club Secretary for Tamborine Equestrian Group Committee. In this role (although not an event rider herself), Alison arranges the club clinics, both eventing and jumping, helps out before during and after every event hosted by the club which includes numerous training days, jumping competitions and ODEs.

Alison always puts in the extra effort and is often the first person to arrive and the last to leave when there is work to be done. Alison is a true volunteer, helping out two disciplines at Club and State Committee level, whilst juggling a full-time job and finding time to compete on her own horses. #NVW2018
