Equestrian Australia (EA) is one of Australia’s leading national sporting organisations with a history of Olympic and Paralympic success.
We are seeking a Sport Services Officer - FEI to join Equestrian Australia to provide administrative support to event Organising Committees (OCs) and athletes in the implementation of Federation Equestre Internationale (FEI) events in Australia. You will become our in-house expert for all things FEI.
You will be confident in establishing quality and productive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. You will have developed effective administrative workflows to increase efficiency and enhance the quality of output, and have confidence to make recommendations where appropriate.
You’ll be responsible for undertake FEI administration tasks relating to schedules, entries, and results. This will require high attention to detail, working within tight deadlines and responding well under pressure. An ability to anticipate problems and respond well to resolve them is an advantage. Your friendly manner and polished communication skills will be important to enable you to liaise with a variety of key stakeholders including our members, volunteers, and event Organising Committees. Your superior time management skills will enable you to manage the ebb and flow of a cyclical workflow. You will develop a detailed understanding of EA policy and process, as well as those of Sport Australia (SA) and the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI).
Equestrian knowledge and an interest in the development of equestrian sport is a must.
