Stars Shine at Sydney CDI

We saw four days of fantastic action last week at Sydney International Equestrian Centre with the SYDNEY CDI - International Dressage Event in full swing.

In the all important Grand Prix on Friday, it was New Zealander Wendi Williamson and 'Don Vito MH' who took the win, scoring 72.149% to finish just ahead of David McKinnon and 'Forlan' on 71.362%.

In the Young Horse classes, the 4YO Young Horse Champion was 'Remi Vintage Star' on 85.6% with Matthew Lord. Alexandra Vodermair and 'Exact' scored 75.4% to win the 5YO Young Horse Championship. Olivia Gillespie and 'Nottingham GP' won the 6YO Young Horse Championship on 88.8% and in the 7YO 'Asgards Indico' ridden by Samantha Sidwell won on 75.8%.

Special mention must go to Alison GillI who rode all three finalists in the Pony Championship: 6YO 'Miss Moneypenny PP', 5YO 'Glenhill Mr Hollywood' and 4YO 'Glenhill Divine Classic'.

'Glenhill Divine Classic' was crowned overall Pony Champion with a score of 80.2%, backing up her 2024 DJWTS Champion of Champions title.

Congratulations to all winners and placegetters and all their connections.
