Tamborine makes it to Three Stars

Tamborine Equestrian Group is set to host their first 3 Day Event. The 2017 Southern Steel Group International 3 Day event is a Unique Event on the Queensland Equestrian Calendar.

The event will take place on October 27-29 at the Tamborine Equestrian Group (TEG) grounds, in the picturesque Gold Coast Hinterland. TEG was founded in 2012 and has been running multiple top class events a year ever since with growing popularity.

This October the committee will be partnering with Eventing Queensland to bring their first three-day event to life. Over 200 horse and rider combinations and 600 spectators are expected to attend this prestigious event which will also include the 2017 Eventing Queensland State Championship. The event will see riders compete at 7 different levels, from 60cm through to CIC3*.

The three-star riders will be tackling a newly constructed cross country course built by world-renowned designer Ewan Kellett. This will be the first time a three-star class has been run in Queensland for a number of years and is expected to draw in competitors from across the Eastern Seaboard.

The event organisers are also proud to offer an extensive trade village with stalls catering for everything from equine nutrition to the latest equestrian apparel and everything in between.
