WEG 2014 Fundraising Raffle - Winners Announced

Thank-you to everyone who entered the WEG fundraising raffle and congratulations to each of the winners listed below.

Congratulations also to the Warringah Dressage Association on winning the club component of this competition which offered Clubs the chance to register to receive horseshoes for each ticket sold online. The prize for the winning club is a visit from a member of the Australian Equestrian Team for the 2014 World Equestrian Games which will take place in late 2014, early 2015. Thank-you to each of the clubs that registered to be a part of this promotion.

UPDATE: The WEG Fundraising Raffle has been extended. The draw will now take place on Wednesday 7 May prior to the Sport Achievement Awards Night.

Tickets are also availble though the EA Office or from a national squad member.

Tickets are available at the following prices: 1 for $10, 3 for $20 or 10 for $50.

All proceeds from the raffle will go towards Australian based riders selected to the Australian team for the 2014 World Equestrian Games.

Prizes on offer include coaching sessions with elite squad riders, signed memorabilia and tickets to sporting events.

Competition terms and condititions:

• The competition will commence on 25 January 2014 and conclude at midnight AEST on Sunday 4 May 2014.
• This is a game of chance with winners to be selected at random
• The draw will take place prior on Wednesday 7 May 2014 at the Equestrian Australia Sport Achievement Awards Night.
• There is no limit to the number of tickets an individual can purchase
• Tickets are 1 for $10, 3 for $20 or 10 for $50.
• Tickets may be purchased online using the online ticket form, through an EA staff member of through EA national squad members.
• Online ticket buyers will need to complete the online form and make their payment via Paypal. Your transaction ID will also double as your unique ticket number.
• Individuals who purchase a ticket online will be allocated one horsehoe per ticket purchased. Horseshoes may be allocated at checkout to a registered EA or PCA club with the club which collects the most horseshoes winning a major prize. 
• Ticket purchasers can not split their horseshoe allocation between multiple clubs if they purchase more than one ticket in the same transaction. For example, if you buy 10 tickets for $50, you will receive 10 horseshoes but they may only be allocated to one club.  
• Proceeds from this raffle will go to Australian based combinations that are selected for the  Australian Equestrian Team for the 2014 World Equestrian Games   
• Equestrian Australia is the promoter of this competition
• Results of the competition will be published on the Equestrian Australia website and may be promoted on social media sites Facebook and Twitter. Winners will be notified by email or phone.
• The total prize pool is valued at $4165.
• Prizes will be awarded in the following order:
  • First ticket drawn will receive an EQUITANA Experience (2 x super passes to all 4 days of Equitana including reserved seating for the Be the Influence Equestrian Grand Final and entry into all ticketed events, Signed Australia Team merchandise pack, meet and greet with the riders, 2x tickets to the EQUITANA VIP function) total value $900
  • Second ticket drawn will receive an Ariat Pack (Boot voucher, boot bag, hard hat bag, show garmet bag, tote bag, gear bag signed by Heath Ryan) total value $665
  • Third ticket drawn will receive a Kentucky Solimbra D30 Dressage boots from Saddleworld (valued at $400)
  • Fourth ticket drawn will receive a $300 advertising voucher for Horsezone and a jacket and hat
  • Fifth ticket drawn will receive a 2 x 45 minute coaching sessions with Brett Parbery valued at $300
  • Sixth ticket drawn will receive a minute coaching sessions with Rozzie Ryan valued at $300
  • Seventh ticket drawn will receive a 2 x 45 minute coaching sessions with Sheridyn Ashwood valued at $300
  • Eighth ticket drawn will receive a 2 x 45 minute coaching sessions with Tor Van Den Berge valued at $300
  • Ninth ticket drawn will receive a 2 x 45 minute coaching sessions with David Shoobridge valued at $300
