Will Enzinger wins CCI2* at AI3DE

Will Enzinger and Flowervale Maserati have won the CCI2* class at this year's Australian International Three Day Event.

The combination was in second position following Saturday’s Cross Country phase but were elevated to the lead after Shane Rose chose to withdraw his horse CP Qualified before the second horse inspection.

Will had a nine penalty advantage leading into the show jumping phase and needed every one of them after knocking two rails down.

Jaimie Stichel and Image Blue Ice took home the young rider championship after finishing in 4th place overall.

At the presentation Shane Rose was awarded the Anna Savage Award and Billy Elliot the Peppermint Grove Award.
