Graham blitzes the field at Salzburg
Amy Graham and Bella Baloubet have won the 1.60 Römerhof Grand Prix at Salzburg CSI4* over the weekend. The combination also won both the Grand Prix qualifiers meaning Graham and Bella Baloubet were undefeated without knocking any rails throughout the whole competition.
When asked about her wins Graham said, “I didn’t expect it, but I thought it was completely possible, my horse is amazing, and if I ride him well, he will give me everything, so I thought why not?”
Graham finished with a 33 millisecond advantage over second place getter Gert-Jan Bruggink and MCB Ulke “when I saw there were 14 in the jump off I thought I know my horse, and I know what I had to do. I know they are going to be faster so I have to say to myself jump, gallop, be clear and turn and if it’s enough it’s enough for the day and if it isn’t my horse has still done amazingly, so I’m happy. But I did what I had to do and it was enough” said Graham.
Now Amy and Bella Baloubet will be heading to Frankfurt this week to compete in their last competition before Christmas.
