We are a Sporting Schools partner

Sporting Schools will engage more than 850,000 children across Australia in what will be the country’s largest school-based participation programme.

Equestrian Australia & Pony Club Australia has partnered with the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) to offer sporting programmes to children before, during or after school. Registration is free for all Australian primary schools, sporting organisations, and coaches.

By bringing sports, schools, and community organisations together, Sporting Schools aims to increase children’s participation in sport and to connect with local sporting clubs in their community.

Clubs currently working with us to deliver the Ready Set Trot program can register online to be a part of Sporting Schools and have the opportunity to connect with schools, attract new members and coaches, and improve their exposure within the community.

Sporting Schools offers free training and development opportunities as well as a range of online resources for sporting organisations, coaches, teachers and parents.

By focusing on having fun, having a go and getting active, Sporting Schools will provide children with positive sporting experiences to help foster a lifelong interest in sport.

Equestrian Australia is proud to be involved in Sporting Schools by supporting the delivery of Ready Set Trot to schools and children within the programme.
