The Barastoc Young Athlete of the Year which recognises an athlete aged between 14 and 21 years old who has achieved one or more exceptional performances during 2014.

Committed to riding and with a determined nature, the 20-year-old from Biddaddaba in south-east Queensland is making her mark in the world of eventing. In 2014 Isabel won the CIC2* and the CIC1* at Warwick International Horse Trials, was second at the Tamworth CIC3* and fourth at Quirindi CCI3* and Camden CIC2*. Isabel also placed 8th at the Australian International Three Day event in only her second four star appearance. In 2014 Isabel was named International Queensland rider of the year and was also the recipient of the Inaugural best and fairest young rider award.
