World Cup Jumping Committee Appointments

John McMillan (NSW) has been appointed Chairman of the World Cup Jumping Committee and Kevin Taranto (Vic) the EA Representative.

John has been appointed to position as Chairman for a 3 year period and Kevin has been appointed to the position of EA Representative for a 2year period.

John and Kevin have a long association with the Australian League of the FEI World Cup and offer a wealth of experience across all areas of the sport.

John began his association with the sport as a competitor and also has experience as a jumping instructor and course builder. He has been professionally involved in jumping for more than 40 years through various businesses. 

Kevin’s involvement in the sport began through his family and he has been an active supporter since 1985. Beginning as a volunteer, Kevin is now an EA accredited official who has judged at numerous World Cup Qualifying rounds and the Australian Show Jumping Championships. In 2015 he judged at an FEI event in Taiwan.

EA takes this opportunity to thank outgoing Chair Peter Cooke and outgoing EA Representative Sue Ryan for their service to the World Cup Committee. Both Sue and Peter have made a considerable contribution to the sport over a long period of time spanning 20 plus years.

The FEI World Cup Australian League is responsible for the development of our elite Australian based riders and both Peter and Sue are to be acknowledged for their commitment to the future of our sport.
