EA engagement at an all-time high

Over the last 12 months, Equestrian Australia (EA) has had a significant rise in its digital and social engagement with members and the wider equine community.

Following the results of the member’s survey that was conducted at the end of 2016, there has been a dedicated focus throughout the year to develop new, engaging content that our members want to consume. The introduction of four new newsletters has given us dedicated platforms to provide information in the areas of Community, Coaching, Officiating and High Performance and with open rates and click-throughs well above industry average, shows this is a positive and well-received form of communication.

As our website continues to evolve, our aim is to enhance the user experience, providing more relevant information, that is readily available and easily accessible for everyone associated with equestrian sport. Areas surrounding education, nutrition and our updated news section are amongst the highest visited pages along with members’ info.

Similarly, on our social channels, there has been a deliberate change to the tone, content and frequency of messaging that has led to a strong growth across all channels.

As our members continue to evolve the way they consume information online, EA has to adapt. Staying current is of vital importance, in an evolving sporting landscape and a crowded communication sphere. as is providing up-to-date information and news.

EA would like to thank all its members, social followers and contributors, as well as the wider equestrian community for engaging with us and we will continue to drive the growth of equestrian sport through our channels in 2018, on the #WaytoWEG and beyond.
