State Interschool Championships Underway

The 2019 State Interschool Championship season has started with a bang.

Equestrian New South Wales was up as the first State to hold their Interschool State Championship event.

The five-day event was held at Sydney International Equestrian Centre (SIEC), from Friday 8^th March to Tuesday 12th March.

The event was a huge success with 380 riders and 453 horses represented 186 schools, from right across NSW, making the journey to compete.

Equestrian NSW CEO, Bruce Farrar said, “The 2019 NSW Interschools Championships have been an outstanding success. We had a new model this year with our office staff supporting Event Director Jane Frankum and her expert Discipline Coordinators. It worked really well, giving all our competitors the platform to perform at their very best.”

Congratulations to everyone who attended.

It was a very relaxed and friendly event, yet again many life-long friendships were forged within this wonderful equestrian fraternity. 

State Championship events will follow in the other States in the coming months.
