Homes & Acreage Boneo Summer Dressage Championships Scores Validated by FEI
The FEI Judges Supervisory Panel (JSP) has reviewed the results of the combinations who competed in the CDI3* competition at Boneo Park, VIC, 20th – 23rd January 2022.
All scores at the Homes & Acreage Boneo Summer Championships CDI3* competition were subject to JSP review in order to assess whether or not the combinations results could be validated as a qualifying score for the FEI World Dressage Championships 2022.
Following the JSP review, we are pleased to confirm that the Australian combinations who achieved a score to be considered as a partial Minimum Eligibility Requirement (MER) for the FEI World Dressage Championships in Denmark later this year are; Mary Hanna on Syriana (71.022 %) and Jayden Brown on Senator Nymphenburg (71.022 %).
In addition, John Thompson of New Zealand received a qualifying score on Chemistry (69.957 %).
The JSP review process is in place due to the complications of COVID-19, and the subsequent inability of Australia to currently host international judges at FEI events. The independent review was carried out in accordance with the FEI Board Resolution passed on 21 October 2021.
Equestrian Australia has been advised that the JSP considers all other combinations final scores too high and consequently their results cannot be used to partially fulfill the qualification criteria for the FEI Dressage World Championships 2022. All riders have been notified.
The next Australian CDI3* qualification event to be held in Australia will take place at Willinga Park from 24th – 27th February 2022 and will present combinations based in Australia with their second opportunity to gain a qualification score.
