Aussies all set for Aachen

Every year across ten days in July, the World Equestrian Festival is held in the beautiful show grounds of Aachen, Germany and sees the world's top equestrian athletes compete against each other in the five disciplines of Jumping, Dressage, Eventing, four-in-hand Driving and Vaulting.

This year we have a number of Aussies in action:

VAULTING 
Ginger Kennett
Horse: Goldjunge
Owner: Jacqueline and Falko Shonteich
Lunger: Jacqueline Shonteich
Groom: Anna Ehrenberg

Ginger will be competing in the Womens Individual Vaulting which starts with the Compulsory on Friday 28 June

DRESSAGE
Simone Pearce
Horse CDIO5* Ind: All We Need

Horse CVI1*: Fine Art Von Bellin
Owner: MJS Gestut von Bellin GmbH
Groom: Emily Reaudavey

Simone's competition starts with the CDIO5* on Thursday 4 July

Young Rider: Kate Kyros
Horse CDIY: Intro K
Owner: Heather Kyros
Groom: Nicola Smith

Kate and Intro K have moved up to be ranked #4 in the FEI Dressage Youth Ranking and will start their competition on Friday 5 July with the Young Riders Individual test. This is a great opportnity for Kate as she is one of only 12 invited Young Riders.

DRIVING
Team Boyd Exell:
Horses: Celviro, Checkmate, Hero, Ivor, Mad Max 81
Team Tor Van Den Berge
Horses: Carbery Estate Cato, Carbery Estate Chino, Indiana, Jeebert, Kerosine

Chef d’Equip: Karen Everett
Boyd and Tor’s Four in hand competition commences Thursday 4 July. Boyd will also have a team in the thrilling Ride and Drive competition teamed up with with Kevin Mcnab and Willunga.


JUMPING
Hilary Scott
Horse: Oaks Milky Way
Owner: Alice Cameron
Horse: Keatingstown Skorphults Joker
Owner: Sharon Fitzpatrick
Groom: Anna Altenburg

Hilary will be competing in the CSIO on both horses. The Jumping runs from 2-7 July
