Expressions of interest to host the Australasian Show Horse & Rider Championships for 2015, 2016 & 2017

The National Show Horse Committee (NSHC) invites all prominent event organisers to apply to host the 2015, 2016 and 2017 Australasian Show Horse and Rider Championships.

Based on the success of recent National Championships held at the Werribee Equestrian Centre, a venue of similar capacity and calibre is ideal.

These Championships showcase the winners and runner-up from each Australian State and riders from New Zealand competing in Leading Rein, Hack, Hunter and Rider classes.

The venue, footing, stabling and facilities should be of a standard in keeping with this prominent Australian event.

Facilities for competitors, spectators and media should be of a superior standard.

With regards to media facilities the event should offer a dedicated media centre, which is managed by a media liaison offer, and that offers working internet and timely delivery of results.

Facilities need to be in the capacity of the following:

• 1 competition arena

• 2 general training areas

• 2 warm-up arenas

• 210 stables plus

• Truck and float parking areas

• Day stalls or yards

• Camping facilities inc. access to power and

water (at least 100 sites)

• Wash bay facilities

• Spectator seating, 500 as a minimum

• Food and beverage outlets
