Competing FEI Level in 2024?

Below is a guide of what you will need to organise to be able to compete at FEI Level.

Please note for FEI registrations and passport processing we require a minimum of 6 weeks prior to your event.

  1. Please ensure your EA membership is current.
  2. FEI Athlete Registration for the rider needs to be renewed each calendar year.
  3. FEI Horse Registration for the horse needs to be renewed each calendar year.
  4. A Passport for the horse that is current. Not sure what passport you require, please see here for more information; https://www.equestrian.org.au/news/implementation-ea-national-passport-document
  5. If the horse already has a National/FEI Passport/FEI Recognition Card/FEI approved Breed Passport check the expiry and renew if needed (FEI Recognition Cards & FEI Passports are only valid for 4 years from date of issue). For FEI Recognition Card/ FEI passport renewal please see link below and you will need to post your passport into us for revalidation.
  6. To organise and pay for FEI Athlete/Horse Registration and to order or renew a passport click HERE.
  7. When posting passports to the EA office please send by registered express post with a tracking number (please make note of the tracking number).
  8. Download the FEI Horse App as you will need it for prior to the event and at the event to record your horse’s temperature. For more information on the FEI Horse App please go to; https://inside.fei.org/hub/it-services/mobile-apps/%20fei_horseapp
