EA Para High Performance Program Welcomes Michelle Battams as Para Equestrian Operations Coordinator

Equestrian Australia is pleased to announce the appointment of Michelle Battams to the role of EA Para Equestrian Operations Coordinator. 

In this role Michelle will be responsible for managing the Para Equestrian National High Performance Program’s operations and logistics, including all major national team campaigns; managing the coordination and delivery of Australian-based CPEDI events; managing Equestrian Australia’s athlete classification program; and being a key point of contact for Para High Performance Program matters.

Michelle brings with her extensive experience in the sporting sector and equestrian sport, including having previously been the Australian Equestrian Team Manager for several years across multiple Championships and Games, and managing numerous components of Equestrian Australia’s High Performance Program. Michelle was also a High Performance Sport Consultant for Para-Equestrian for a period of time in the years prior to the London Paralympic Games.

Michelle will commence in the role in late March 2023.
