Seven Australians make first FEI Young Rider Rankings

Young Rider rankings for dressage have been released by the FEI for the first time and Australian riders have achieved very well on a worldwide basis.

Mary Seefried, Chair of Australian Dressage Committee was full of praise for the young riders and their support teams.

“It is a credit to them and their coaches but also to our organising committees who have been putting on the events and classes for these riders to qualify, providing a great training ground for our future senior Australian representatives.”

There are seven young Australians that feature in the top 100 Young Rider world ranking list for dressage. A Young Rider is one aged between 16-21. Congratulations to the following that have made the inaugural top 100:

Elizabeth Hulin (NSW) Moscow         

Morgan Duell (VIC) Florinzz           

Elloise Devlin (QLD) Brimstone Anikawa    

Courtney Barbera (QLD) Half Moon Delicato    

Mary Warren (NSW) Mindarah Park Ramadan                     

Grace Kay (NSW) Karingal Jamirquai      

Annie Simmons (QLD) Florett                           

The FEI has also released an under 25 World Ranking List for the first time and again Australia has 7 combinations in the Top 100:

Simone Pearce (VIC) & Little Lion 28
