The KER Owner of the Year award acknowledges an owner who has shown exceptional commitment to the outstanding performances achieved by horses during the year.

Cheryl Hatswell

Cheryl has been involved with horses since she was a teenager and now owns the Ponderosa Stud. In 2014 Ponderosa Stud Royal Dancer was named the Dressage horse of the year for the third consecutive year.

Cheryl is also heavily involved with the training of all her horses and regularly travels interstate to Sydney and Melbourne to watch her horses compete and assist their riders with competitions.
