Stephanie and Georgie perform well in Perth

September 2016 saw the return of the World Cup Jumping to the Perth Royal Show for the second time after a six-year gap.

Stephanie Tucker, winner of the 2015 Perth World Cup, performed a super clear round taking again first place on the podium with Oaks Redwood.

Oaks Redwood won the Champion Horse and the Horse of the Year and the combination won the lead-up class and finished second in the Countryman’s Cup on the same weekend.

With a number of 10 riders in the World Cup it was an excellent challenge set by Course Designer Peter Gillispie (UK) and round one concluded with no clear rounds. 

In round two, four riders performed clear rounds but Stephanie was the quickest with a very strong time of 51.19. She sits in 16th position of the IRT World Cup leaderboard with a total of 11 points.

Georgie Siciliano wins Perth Young Rider Series after taking part in the NZ unofficial Transtasman young rider event in Gisborne last January.
