The National Strategy & Structure Working Group Expands with Two New Members Appointed

With the nationally aligned strategy released for Equestrian, the focus now turns to determining the best structure for the sport to deliver the strategy.

Much work has already been done to review current models for sporting organisations in Australia and also international equestrian structures.

As we reach the pointy end of the roles and responsibilities analysis, efficiency modelling and structural recommendations, two new members, Lisa Winn and Amy Slayter have joined the working group to support the work ahead.

Lisa Winn is currently an Equestrian NSW Director, Chair of the Marketing and Comms Committee.

She has a broad experience in change management and building organisational alignment structurally, operationally and behaviourally as well as experience in commercial startups.

Current Equestrian Victoria CEO, Amy Slayter, has been employed in marketing, digital and strategy leadership roles throughout her career. Amy’s expertise covers change management, implementing digital innovation, leadership and relationship management.

“Both appointments bring extensive experience to the working group that will complement the skill-set, experience and expertise of the current group. They are great additions to the team,” said EA CEO Darren Gocher.
