All Coaches must maintain their EA Membership and EA Coach Registration to be able to call, advertise and promote themselves as an EA Coach.
In NSW, VIC, SA and TAS, EA Membership is renewable by 4pm on 30th June each year.
In QLD, WA and NT, EA Membership is renewable by 4pm on 31st December each year.
EA Coach Registration is renewable by 4pm on 30th June each year, for all States.
The annual Coach Registration Renewal Pack is sent via email to every registered Coach no later than early June. When a Coach changes their email address they should notify both the EA National Office and their respective State Branch as soon as possible so that they do not miss this critical information.
To renew registration as an EA Coach, the Coach must:
- Be a current member of their State EA Branch
- Complete a coach renewal form
- Complete an activities form (if you have been unregistered for less than 12 months) OR a familiarisation form (if you have been unregistered for more than 12 months)
- Hold a current First Aid certificate - Certificate HLTAID003 - Provide First Aid (CPR is also recommended)
- Have relevant Working with Children Clearance (state based)
- Hold their Sport Integrity Anti-Doping Fundamentals (formerly ASADA Level 1) Certificate - free to complete HERE
- Complete the Sport Integrity Annual Update (formerly ASADA Level 2) Certificate - free to complete HERE
- Have satisfied EA's updating requirements
- Have current Coach Insurance or purchase EA Coach Insurance
