
Mary Hanna and Ivanhoe do Australia proud at 2025 FEI World Cup Finals
Australian Dressage rider, Mary Hanna, has once again showcased her class and experience on the world stage, competing in her sixth FEI Dressage World Cup Final in Basel, Switzerland. Partnered with Ivanhoe, Mary flew the Australian flag high across two rounds of elite competition.
The action began on Friday 4 April with the Grand Prix, where Mary and Ivanhoe were drawn to ride 10th in the order. The duo delivered a polished and expressive test to earn a score of 69.152%, placing them 13th out of a strong field of 17 competitors. The class was won by Great Britain’s Charlotte Fry riding Glamourdale, scoring an impressive 77.152%.
In the Grand Prix Freestyle, held on the final day of competition, Mary and Ivanhoe returned to the arena with poise and presence. Performing to a beautifully choreographed routine, they scored 72.730%, finishing the Final in 15th place overall.
This year’s performance marks a significant milestone in Mary’s remarkable career, reinforcing her status as one of the sport’s most enduring and respected competitors. Representing Australia on the world stage with style and determination, her achievements continue to inspire generations of equestrians back home.
