EA High Performance Program welcomes Andrew Barnett as Pathways Coordinator
Equestrian Australia is delighted to announce that our recruitment process has been successful and a new Performance Pathways Coordinator will be joining us this week. This follows the role made vacant following Will Enzinger's appointment to High Performance Director earlier this year. Please join us in welcoming Andrew Barnett!
Andrew has extensive experience in equestrian sport, managing an Eventing stable with his partner Tarsha Hammond, as well as being an EA Level 2 Eventing and Jumping Coach, EA Coach Educator and HP Competitive Edge Coach.
Andrew will be working on the implementation of the Eventing Pathways Program for athletes categorised within the AIS Athlete Categorisation Framework as 'Emerging' and 'Developing' in alignment with the EA 2021-2024 Performance Pathways Strategy. This work will include management of the Gen Next Squad, the development and ongoing monitoring and reporting on Individual Athlete Performance Plans and working closely with athletes, their personal coaches and home teams to optimise athletes’ development and performance.
