EA opens EOI for Olympic and Paralympic Selectors for the LA Cycle

The next Olympic & Paralympic term will run from January 2025 to December 2028, and amongst many selection opportunities, will include two major events, 2026 FEI World Championship, Aachen, Germany and the 2028 Olympics and Paralympics to be held in Los Angeles, US.

Individuals who are interested in being considered for a Selector position for this cycle commencing in 2025 are encouraged to apply now.

Application Process:

The application deadline is 6 December 2024, and a resume along with the relevant completed nomination form (EOI or SOI) should be emailed to HP Sport Manager - Di Saunders, on or before 6 December 2024 at [email protected]

Appointments will be made with reference to the National HP Positions Appointment and Procedures Policy*.

Athletes are welcomed to complete a Suggestion of Interest Form (SOI) to nominate or suggest a person for a National Discipline Selector Position.

EA Members may nominate a suitable applicant or self-nominate on the Expression of Interest Form (EOI). Position Descriptions and Application Forms can be found HERE.

EA would like to thank the outgoing Olympic & Paralympic Discipline Selectors for their contribution over the last 18 months culminating in the selection of the Australian Equestrian Team to Paris. 

  • Dressage: MaryJane Crabtee, Dirk Dijkstra, Lone Joergensen
  • Eventing: Georgia Widdup, Stephen Bow, Claudia Hodson, Kate Wallis
  • Jumping: Colleen Brook, Gavin Chester, David Dobson
  • Para-Dressage: Gary Lung, Sue Chandler, Veronica Steward

The current selectors will remain in office until such time as the new Panel is formed and ratified by the EA National Board. 

Please note that the National HP Positions Appointment & Procedures Policy (2018) is currently being updated and the new version will be distributed to all applicants and interested persons when available.
